St Mark’s at Digestive Disease Week (DDW) 2016

Dr Nik Ding, Research Fellow at St Mark's, awarded the Young Investigator Award at Digestive Disease Week (DDW) 2016.

At the international meeting, Digestive Diseases Week (DDW) in San Diego, USA, research work was presented from St Mark’s IBD Unit (Director Dr Ailsa Hart), by Dr Nik Ding on “Body Composition Profile: A Predictor of Therapeutic Outcome in Patients With Moderate to Severe Crohn’s Disease”. Special congratulations to Dr Ding for achieving Young Investigator award for the research work. Dr Ding also presented data on “Lipid Biomarkers: Diagnostic Approach to Crohn’s Disease Using Metabonomic Profiling in Serum and Faeces”.

Congratulations to Dr Philip Hendy for presenting his research on “Patient Reported Adherence Rates to Topical Therapies in Ulcerative Colitis”
and “Aberrant Circulating Dendritic Cell Cytokine Production and Homing Profile in Crohn’s Disease is Normalised by Anti-TNF-α Therapy”.
