St Mark’s Academic Institute runs highly prestigious teaching terms for intestinal and colorectal surgeons. This four week programme is suitable for surgeons who would like to broaden their expertise in intestinal and colorectal disease and it is an opportunity to learn how to manage complex patients in a multi-disciplinary setting. The programme includes lectures and open seminars delivered by experts, observing complex cancer and benign proctology surgical sessions. Participating in outpatient clinics to give the delegates an opportunity to follow the patient pathway pre and post operative. All participants are welcome to attend the regular routine hospital meetings. There is also free time for personal study.
