Dinh is undertaking research into the use of artificial intelligence driven volumetric body composition analysis and the clinical potentials for individualised analysis treatments such as chemotherapy dosing for colorectal cancer. He is supervised by Mr Ian Jenkins as part of the BiCyCLE group.

Dinh obtained his primary medical degree from the University of Birmingham, undertook his foundation training in Merseyside and his core surgical training in Yorkshire and Humberside. He is now a higher surgical training registrar (ST5) in the Thames Valley Deanery and is taking time out of programme to undertake this PhD.
