Srivathsan Ravindran

Srivathsan Ravindran is currently undertaking research focusing on improving safety and reducing error in endoscopy and enhancing non-technical skills training through simulation-based education.

Dr Srivathsan Ravindran completed his undergraduate training at Guy’s, King’s & St Thomas’ School of Medicine. He completed his Foundation training in the South Thames deanery and Core Medical Training in Kent, Surrey & Sussex (KSS). He gained his National Training Number in Gastroenterology & General Internal Medicine in KSS in 2013. His interests in Medical Education led to attainment of MSc in Medical Education through University College London and the RCP.

He has taken time out of programme (OOPR) to pursue research and teaching interests. He is currently a research fellow at St Mark’s Hospital and an Imperial clinical teaching fellow based at Northwick Park Hospital. His research is under the supervision of Dr Siwan Thomas-Gibson and Professor Lord Darzi, focusing on improving safety and reducing error in endoscopy and enhancing non-technical skills training through simulation-based education.
