Aamir is a gastroenterology registrar and a Research Fellow at St Mark's, completing a PhD. Aamir completed his medical training at the University of Oxford, during which he completed a BA in Infection and Immunity.

Aamir is a gastroenterology registrar and has recently started as a Research Fellow at St Mark’s, with the intention of completing a PhD. Aamir completed his medical training at the University of Oxford, during which he completed a BA in Infection and Immunity. He undertook his Foundation Training in the South Thames deanery and his Core Medical Training in North West London. In 2017–18, he won a place on the National Medical Director’s Clinical Fellowship Scheme, where he was fellow to Dr Kathy McLean, Executive National Medical Director of NHS Improvement, and Mrs Celia Ingham Clark, National Director of Patient Safety and Clinical Effectiveness.
