Rachel has been the Trusts Research Radiographer for 7 years, and has obtained a PhD Clinical Fellow Position leading the CTC National Training Programme in 2021.

Rachel Baldwin-Cleland has worked for LNWUH NHS Trust for 17 years, and at St Mark’s Hospital for 10 as Gastrointestinal Superintendent Radiographer. She is actively involved in the Radiographer and Radiologist CT Colonography (CTC) educational courses run both at St Mark’s hospital and nationally and has co-chaired and published the National Best Practice Guidelines for Radiographer Training and Education in CTC (hosted on the SCoR website). Additionally, Rachel has presented in Chicago at RSNA on Radiographer CTC education and training within the UK. She has co-authored 2 book chapters on CTC imaging, been involved in 11 other journal publications in GI imaging, and was part of the PHE BCSP Imaging guidelines publication team. Rachel is Chair of GIRSIG and is a Radiographer representative on the Bowel Cancer Screening Radiology CPG.
